The island of Alderney has issued a set of six stamps to mark the sixtieth anniversary of the Queen's coronation. The stamps feature black and white images of key moments in the coronation, which took place on 2 June 1953 - and was the first coronation to be televised - with an estimated TV audience of 20 million.
The six stamps show:
The stamps are accompanied by a portfolio of associated Coronation products which comprises a first day cover, presentation pack and prestige booklet.

- The Queen during the Coronation ceremony (71p)
- An official Coronation portrait of the newly-crowned Queen Elizabeth II (79p)
