The Bill Hart Award for services to youth philately has been presented to Tim and Maureen Cory, who run the Kidstamps postal stamp club.

The annual award is presented for an adult contribution to the field of youth philately. This year, the achievements of Tim and Maureen Cory of the Kidstamps postal club have been celebrated. The couple took over the running of the club in 2007, after the death of its founder Anne Drummer.

Since then, more than 2,000 children around the country have joined Kidstamps, which is part of the Stamp Active network. Young members (aged between 5 and 18) regularly receive stamps, first day covers and other philatelic souvenirs which are donated to Kidstamps by collectors around the country.

Tim and Maureen were presented with Royal Mail royalty items and a framed certificate and both signed the Roll of Honour in recognition of their achievements.
