Canadian Pride stamps from Canada Post

Canada Post presents 'Canadian Pride' a set of definitive stamps presenting the Canadian flag implemented into everyday activities. Stamp designer Karen Smith has used Canada's distinctive red and white flag on five different stamps which feature the flag displayed on different Canadian landscapes.

• On the first stamp, three deckchairs featuring the flag are shown looking out onto a pier with a lake, with autumn trees.

• The second stamp has the flag on a haybale on a prairie field.

• On stamp three, an east coast sailing boat with a Canada flag sail is shown on a lake.

• The fourth stamp has a 'living flag' made up of 3,000 people on a Winnipeg lawn, during Canada Day celebrations.

• The final stamp in the set features a fishing hut in the snow at Ontario, which has the flag across one of its walls.
