Israel issues 2012 Europa stamps

Israel's contribution to the Visit... theme set by Europa for 2012 is three stamps featuring photographs by Pini Hamou and Doron Nissim. The Europa 2012 theme encourages participating postal authorities to issue stamps encouraging tourists to visit their own country. Israel has featured the city of Jaffa, a port settlement incorporated with Tel Aviv, Rosh Hanikra, a spectacular site of white cliffs and grottoes overlooking Haifa Bay, and Timna, a valley in southern Israel which is noted for its unusual rock formations.
