Jersey Post has introduced their own Post & Go stamp which will be available to collectors from Royal Mail’s ‘Hytech’ machines at this month’s Stampex event in London.

The first of a series of Jersey Post & Go self-adhesive stamps, overprinted with one of six rates, feature the Jersey flag and are printed by Walsall Security Printers in four colour gravure in coil strips, sized 25mm deep x 56mm wide.

Sally Diamond of Jersey Post said: ‘The first Royal Mail Post & Go stamps were introduced in 2008 and various designs have been introduced ever since. We have been working with Royal Mail over the past twelve months to introduce this new product to Jersey stamps and to offer something new and exciting to all collectors.’

As with Royal Mail’s Post & Go stamps, the Jersey stamps carry a unique identification number depending on the machine and session number of where and when they were issued. Jersey Post & Go stamps issued by the Jersey Philatelic Bureau for sets, Presentation Packs and First Day Covers are printed on a ‘B Series’ back office machine.
