Kidstamps, the popular free postal club for young stamp collectors is to be re-launched following a successful appeal for a new organiser, as detailed here, on the Stamp & Coin Mart website.
Alan Bretherton from Southport has agreed to take over the running of Kidstamps from September 2015. He replaces Maureen and Tim Cory who had run the club for eight years, providing starter packs and quarterly gift packs of stamps, first days covers and other philatelic items donated by collectors and dealers.
Youngsters can download an application form from the Stamp Active website (www.stampactive.co.uk). If they send the form off with a large stamp-addressed envelope they will receive the starter pack and a voucher.
If they return the voucher, they will continue to receive further stamps packs and other items every three months.
Donations of unwanted stamps, first day covers and other philatelic material for Kidstamps can now be sent to:
KIDSTAMPS, 9 Liverpool Avenue, Southport PR8 3NE.
