The Postal Museum are set to release a new book Just Large Enough by Douglas Muir as a guide to the Museum’s Philatelic Collections to coincide with the opening of London 2022 International Stamp Exhibition.
The book by Senior Curator Douglas N. Muir titled Just Large Enough, A Guide to The Postal Museum’s Philatelic Collections will be published on 19 February.
The lavishly illustrated, 300-page book takes the reader through the many highlights of the philatelic collections of The Postal Museum. Based on more than 30 years’ experience and new research, the publication features new information and illustrations published for the first time.

The paperback book contains 300 pages and is available to pre-order online at shop.postalmuseum.org for the retail price of £25. Visitors to London 2022 International Stamp Exhibition will be able to purchase a signed copy of the book at The Postal Museum’s stand 135.
Douglas N. Muir, Senior Curator of Philately at The Postal Museum, with more than thirty years’ experience of the collections, is a signatory of the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists and the Book of Scottish Philatelists.
He is the author of several standard works on the history of the stamps of the United Kingdom, from Postal Reform & the Penny Black through George V & the G.P.O. to A Timeless Classic: the evolution of Machin’s icon.
