‘From the Penny Black and the Machin, right up to present day Post & Go, it’s perfect for both specialists and general readers, featuring beautiful illustrations throughout. It covers postal history and stamp design, printing and innovation, master craftspeople and postal stationery, as well as less well-known stories such as early pictorial stamps from Palestine and the Gulf.’

The paperback book contains 300 pages and is available to pre-order online at shop.postalmuseum.org for the retail price of £25. Visitors to London 2022 International Stamp Exhibition will be able to purchase a signed copy of the book at The Postal Museum’s stand 135.
