New Zealand Post has issued six new stamps featuring scenes from the country's three UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

The stamps, which will be issued on 5 August 2015, feature Te Wahipounamu (south-west of South Island), Tongariro National Park (central North Island) and the New Zealand Sub-Antarctic Islands (south of South Island), which between them draw thousands of visitors each year.

The six stamps feature two locations from each of the three World Heritage Sites:

80c - The Emerald Lakes, Tongariro National Park
$1.40 - Franz Josef Glacier, Te Wahipounamu
$2 - Enderby Island, Sub-Antarctic Islands
$2.20 - Mount Ngauruhoe, Tongariro National Park
$2.50 - Lake MacKenzie, Te Wahipounamu
$3 - Campbell Island, Sub-Antarctic Islands
