The Isle of Man's 2014 Christmas stamps feature illustrations from Raymond Briggs's The Snowman and the Snowdog animation.

The six stamps feature scenes from The Snowman and The Snowdog, first shown on TV in 2012. The animation, which was created to mark the thirtieth anniversary of Briggs's animation The Snowman, tells the story of Billy, a boy whose earnest Christmas wishes for a dog result in the magical creation of a Snowdog.

Billy is featured on three of the stamps, where he is shown flying with The Snowman (42p), sleding with The Snowdog (£1.21) and holding his dog with The Snowman behind him (£2.21). The other three stamps show Father Christmas (42p), The Snowdog chasing a ball (90p) and The Snowman with The Snowdog (75p).

To purchase the stamps, visit the Isle of Man Post Office website.
