The Isle of Man Post Office has released a set of six rose scented stamps to mark the centenary of the Womens Institute.

The stamps, which are printed on rose scented paper and carry the heading 'The WI Centenary 1915-2015', feature past and present Isle of Man WI members carrying out work for their various campaigns over the years, including 'supporting Manx dairy farmers', 'women demand equal pay' and 'please take litter home'.

The Womens Institute was established in Anglesey in 1915 with the aims of allowing women to socialise, take part in local and national campaigns, and learn and develop skills. The Isle of Man WI was established on the island in 1950 and has 750 members in thirty local groups.
