An Post, the postal service for the Republic of Ireland has released details of the three new stamps it has issued for Christmas 2014.

The first stamp features a photograph of a young Dublin girl named Paris Curtis who is pictured playing the role of an angel in a nativity play at Mansion House in Dublin. Paris, who is seven years old, recently unveiled the 68c stamp on behalf of An Post.

The two other stamps feature Harry Clarke stained glass windows - An angel with a lute at Millstreet Parish Church in Co Cork and the Infant Christ at St Patrick's Church, Co Mayo. Dublin artist Harry Clarke was born in 1899 and was a student at the Dubline Metropolitan School of Art, where he learned the stained glass trade.

Clarke was a leading figure in the Irish Arts and Crafts movement and also worked as a book illustrator.
