Post Luxembourg are celebrating the 125th anniversary of the Lëtzebuerger Landesuebstbauveräin, the body responsible for the promotion of growing fruit in the country.
The main mission of the association is to promote fruit growing in Luxembourg.
The self-sufficiency rate of fruit in Luxembourg is currently 1%. It is therefore important to support and motivate farms to increase the area of arable land. The fruit producer works a lot in his fields and arable land before, during and after the harvest to offer fruits of the best quality. Much of the work is done by hand to protect sensitive fruit.
