This year’s seasonal stamps from Luxembourg feature fun illustrations by Luxembourger Tanja Majerus
As Post Luxembourg explain, she shows a real talent for bringing animals and imaginary characters to life.
Tanja’s work on the stamps is added to an impressive CV which includes artwork for DreamWorks, Universal Pictures, Disney and MGA Entertainment, whilst the artist has also worked as character layout artist for the every popular The Simpsons TV series. On the two stamps we see fun and festive winter scenes featuring an intelligent weasel, a fearful hedgehog, a very comfortable badger and a playful mole!
