A new set of stamps from Luxembourg feature drawings by children aged between 8 and 12, who were challenged to draw a 'moment lived during confinement.'

The eight new stamps, available on a mini-sheet, add to the growing range of stamps issued to show solidarity, and to thank key workers, during the global Covid-19 pandemic.

The children's drawing competition was won by: Julia, Kim, Irina, Nathalie, Amelie, Julien, Marceau and Inès, with subjects depicted including cooking at home, playing games and playing musical instruments. One of the stamps also featured a rainbow, a symbol which quickly became synonymous with the lockdown, spreading hope and bright colours whilst we were all confined to our homes.

The drawings of the eight winners are published on a real special “COVID-19” stamp and each winner also received €100.
