Both Guernsey Post and Jersey Post have revealed the designs for their latest Post & Go stamp sets, both of which will be issued on 12 February.

Guernsey’s six Post & Go stamps depict some of the fishing boats that operate in the waters around the Bailiwick of Guernsey.

Bridget Yabsley, head of philatelic at Guernsey Post said: ‘Following huge interest in last year’s Post & Go stamps, which depict cars belonging to members of Guernsey Old Car Club, we were keen to feature another local theme for our sixth Post & Go stamp issue.

‘Fishing in the Bailiwick of Guernsey is a an active industry and a common pastime, so we are really delighted to depict some of the colourful fishing boats, along with the unique beauty of the seas around the Bailiwick of Guernsey. We are grateful to the fishermen who agreed for their fishing boats to be depicted on our stamps.’
