Swiss Post have added a simple new element to their latest stamp set, and it’s not a special ‘QR code’ for smart phones, a hologram, or a stamp that releases a scent.
The ‘Domino’ set is just as its name suggests, with each value recreating a domino, allowing letter writers to arrange the stamps methodically across their envelope, or just collect the stamps and use them to play the age-old game.
It’s not the first Swiss stamp to have more than one use. Earlier this year a ‘Sustainability’ stamp featured a wordsearch design ‘to encourage people to complete the word search – both before sending and after receiving letters,’ with 24 other German, French and Italian words related to sustainability to be found.
