Guernsey Post & Go celebrates postal independence

Guernsey Post’s philatelic bureau has announced that it will vend Post & Go stamps with a special overprint to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of Guernsey’s Postal Independence.

The new design will be available at the autumn edition of Stampex, which takes place from 11 to 14 September 2019 at the Business Design Centre in Islington, London.  

The new overprint on the Guernsey flag stamps, which will vend from the GG01 series exhibition kiosk, will read: ‘Guernsey Post // Celebrates 50 Years’

Also available at Stampex will be the bureau’s latest issue, the 50th Anniversary of the Guernsey Old Car Club, which will print on the second reel of the GG01 Guernsey kiosk with the overprint:

‘Autumn Stampex 2019’.

Following Stampex, back office strips of the overprint designs will be available to purchase from the philatelic bureau. These strips will carry the new series code GGO4 in place of the ‘B’ code and can be obtained by visiting the website.
