With a distinguished heritage dating back to 1856, Stanley Gibbons is the world’s longest established rare stamp merchant. Our leading experts are at the heart of everything we do and travel globally in search of authentic, high-quality material, often of extreme rarity and value.
The Stanley Gibbons Publishing House is based in Hampshire, where we edit, proof and print award-winning stamp catalogues, including the annual Commonwealth & British Empire Stamp Catalogue 1840-1970 also known as the “stamp collectors bible” or “Part One”, by avid collectors. We also produce two of the industry’s leading monthly philatelic magazines.
The first Stanley Gibbons stamp catalogue was published in 1865. It was a penny price list that ran monthly until 1879. The company now produces over 100 stamp catalogues, lists and auction brochures for all regions and collectors, with new editions still being founded each year.
Amongst the many items that we are bringing to ‘Summer of Stamps’ we have, hot off the press, the 2020 GB Concise catalogue and – as a special offer for all of our industry friends – we are also offering an annual subscription to the leading philatelic trade publication ‘The Philatelic Exporter’ with 3 additional issues completely free.
Thanks for visiting us and enjoy the show.
