Stamp dealers Rushstamps of Lyndhurst have reported the discovery of a 1990 Greetings stamp booklet with an inverted booklet pane.

A spokesperson for the stamp dealers said:

‘We have just discovered a copy of the 1990 Greetings Stamp Booklet with Inverted Booklet Pane. It is SG 1483-92, issued nearly 30 years ago to the day on 6 February 1990, completely sealed as issued.'

The £2 'Smiles' greetings booklet featured ten stamps from the 'Greetings' series, with the 20p stamps depicting:

  • Stan Laurel (comedian)

The inverted booklet pane means those smiles have turned to frowns!
