Luxembourg recently celebrated the 75th anniversary of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) with a single stamp showing the organisation's logo.
The North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) is a defence alliance founded in 1949 by twelve countries (including Luxembourg) in the context of the Cold War. Its main objective was to guarantee the freedom and security of its member states in Europe and North America.
As it marks 75 years, Luxembourg have issued a single €1.40 value showing the NATO logo.
