Luxembourg celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the Fondation Maison de la Porte Ouverte, with a single stamp, issued on 9 March.
Over the past 50 years, the FMPO has often played the role of initiator or co-initiator in the implementation of new social and educational concepts in Luxembourg.
The FMPO can therefore say with pride that it opened the first home for women in distress in 1976, the first home for young mothers in 1987, the first day care centre for adolescents in 1995, the first reception centre. day and night for young parents in 2013 and the first reception centre for victims of human trafficking in 2019.
