A new set of stamps released by the Isle of Man on 7 March provides a mesmerising view of the world beneath the waves with beautiful Marine Mosaics by Kimmy McHarrie.
Kimmy McHarrie, a native of Castletown, Isle of Man, has dedicated her life to capturing the essence of nature through her intricate artwork. Inspired by her deep-rooted connection to the sea and fuelled by a passion for conservation, Kimmy’s creations serve as a poignant reminder of the fragile beauty around us.
Marine Mosaics features six stamps, each highlighting a fish species native to the waters of the Isle of Man. From the humble herring, affectionately known as skeddan in Manx, to the majestic salmon (braddan), Kimmy’s mosaics pay homage to the rich maritime heritage of the Island.

The set features six stamps valued at 85p, £1.28, £1.51, £1.82, £2.31 and £2.72.
The £1.28 stamp featuring the boiddagh (Cod) has been chosen as the island’s Europa stamp for 2024, which are being issued on the theme of ‘Underwater Fauna & Flora’. It bears the official Europa logo and provides a glimpse into the shared cultural and ecological heritage of the Isle of Man within the broader context of the Europa stamp initiative.
Kimmy McHarrie said:
