Post Luxembourg have released three new stamps throughout the month of March 2024 celebrating everything from art to royalty!

Prince François 2024 Stamp

A new stamp to celebrate the 1st birthday of His Royal Highness Prince François of Luxembourg has been issued by POST Philately. HRH Prince François was born on 27th March 2023 at the Maternité Grande-Duchesse Charlotte in Luxembourg, he is the second child of Their Royal Highnesses Prince Guillaume and Princess Stéphanie of Luxembourg and is third in line to the throne.

Where can I buy the Prince François 2024 Stamp?

The image featured on the stamp was taken by Royal Photographer Sophie Margue and can be bought from €1.40 per unit via POST Luxembourg.

A new stamp celebrating the 90th anniversary of The Fédération des Sociétés Philatéliques du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg (FSPL) which was founded in 1934 has been issued by POST Philately. Today, the FSPL brings together 27 philatelic societies from all over the country of Luxembourg and seeks to promote and develop philatelic and cultural activities to all its members.

Armand Strainchamps 2024 Stamp

POST Philately has issued a sheet of 8 stamps celebrating and featuring the artwork of multidisciplinary artist Armand Strainchamps to mark the posthumous IV Seasons exhibition which is taking place at the POST Luxembourg headquarters. Strainchamps (1955-2023) was a Luxembourg pop artist who specialised in Copy Art but also had interests in engraving, sculpture, painting and film, he is best known the fresco ceiling of the Luxembourg train station. 

Images featured on the stamps include Strainchamps seasonal paintings, each showing a tree representing the different seasons and four portraits of young women painted in his characteristic pop art style.
