Royal Mail celebrate UK's National Parks with ten stamps

Royal Mail marks seventy years since the first National Parks opened in the UK with a set of ten stamps featuring UK locations including the Peak District, North Yorkshire Moors, and the Lake District.

Royal Mail's ten se-tenant National Parks stamps feature photographs of some of the country's most picturesque locations.

The full list is as follows:

  • Peak District (1951)
  • Lake District (1951)
  • Snowdonia (1951)
  • Dartmoor (1951)
  • North York Moors (1951)
  • The Broads (1989)
  • New Forest (2005)
  • South Downs (2010)
  • Pembrokeshire Coast (1952)
  • Loch Lomond and the Trossachs (2022)

The seventieth anniversary refers to the opening of four parks in 1971, and today there are fifteen parks, with ten featured in the stamp set.

The 'over-square landscape' stamps are arranged in two horizontal rows of five, feature stock photographs, and are all 1st class denomination.
