Members of Grimsby & District Philatelic Society have raised over £4,000 for a Lincolnshire hospice with their annual charity auction.

The Society's annual Christmas philatelic auction is a popular event on the group's events calendar and this year, members raised £4,150 for St Andrews Hospice in Grimsby. This brings the society's fundraising total to more than £36,000 raised for charity through the auction and other fundraising events.

More than 500 auction catalogues are produced each year and sent out to addresses around the UK and overseas. Both club members and outside sponsors donate philatelic items to the event, to help the chosen charity.
