Collectors have already begun pre-ordering the March issue of Stamp & Coin Mart magazine, with readers set to receive a set of ten Royal Mail Alice in Wonderland stamp cards.

The stamp cards have been issued to coincide with the release of Royal Mail’s new ‘Alice in Wonderland’ stamps. The ten-stamp set has been issued to mark the 150th anniversary of the publication of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and features striking illustrations by illustrator Grahame Baker-Smith.

Editor Matt Hill said: ‘We’re really excited about the March issue, which will include the free stamp cards from Royal Mail. They’re a really attractive set of stamps and look great in the larger, postcard format.

'Readers may remember we ran a similar promotion in 2013, offering stamp cards showing each of Royal Mail’s popular Dr Who stamps. That promotion was hugely popular and we expect the Alice in Wonderland stamp cards to be snapped up very quickly too. Combine that with a bumper edition of the Stampex show catalogue, a Tips of the Stamp Trade booklet, and the range of articles, news stories and collecting advice in the magazine itself, and the March issue is a must-not-miss!’

Thanks to the promotion, the stamp cards feature alternative text on the reverse, and so offer collectors a variety from those cards purchased directly from Royal Mail.

Collectors are being encouraged to pre-order the March issue to ensure they receive a copy before they sell out. You can order by calling 01778 392030 or order the March issue here on the website.

In addition to the Alice in Wonderland stamp cards, the March issue of the popular magazine will also include a free copy of the official Stampex exhibition catalogue, which this time includes a special 80-page guide to the Great Britain Philatelic Society (GBPS) sixtieth anniversary display, and a special ‘Tips of the Stamp Trade’ booklet will also be included with the issue.
