Malta Post has issued details of its entry for the Europa 2012 'Visit...' theme. The two stamps are joined together to create a panoramic view of Valletta's Grand Harbour, looking towards the Three Cities. Included in the photograph is the historic Fort Angelo and Valletta's sixteenth-century fortifications.

Joseph Gafa, CEO of Malta Post, said: 'The Philatelic Bureau of MaltaPost chose to highlight the Grand Harbour because it is an area of significant historical and geographical importance for Islands. We believe it will instantly show foreigners Malta's unique historical landscape and encourage them to learn more.'
