Isle of Man Post Office has issued a set of stamps to congratulate the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the brith of their son, Prince George of Cambridge.

The stamp issue is a reprint of stamps issued by the Isle of Man Post Office to mark the royal wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (Prince William and Kate Middleton) two years ago. The stamps are joined by a label announcing the details of the birth. The label features the wording '4.24pm, 8lb 6oz, 22 July 2013. Announcing the birth of HRH Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge.' The bottom of the label has the quote 'We could not be happier' which was the wording of an announcement made by Prince William following the birth of his son.

Prince George of Cambridge is the first child for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and, as the great-grandson of the queen, is the third in line to the throne - after his father Prince William and grandfather Prince Charles.

The stamp issue is also accompanied by a mint sheet, a CTO sheet, mint label sheet and CTO label sheet.

To order the stamps, visit the Isle of Man Post Office website.
