Stamp & Coin Mart magazine is set to be re-branded as Stamp Collector from the January 2019 issue onwards, with the magazine to be 100% dedicated to stamps and postal history.

The change of name and focus follows extensive market research and the successful introduction of Coin Collecting Magazine, which will continue to be given away with Stamp Collector and now provides a focus for numismatists.

Editor Matt Hill said:

‘We’re really excited with the plan to start producing two magazines rather than one, giving both stamp and coin collectors a dedicated publication of their own. Of course, the decision hasn’t been easy, but we feel the move will benefit both hobbies and I can’t wait for readers to see the new-look January issue.

'We’ll still be including all the content you love, and will be introducing a number of new features giving readers more insight into collecting and the stamp market. And, of course, we always welcome feedback and suggestions from readers, thank you to everyone who has helped us shape the new magazines and keep your comments coming in.’

Coin Collecting Magazine, soon to be re-named Coin Collector, will be published quarterly in 2019, meaning subscribers to Stamp & Coin Mart will receive sixteen magazines throughout the year, not to mention the many extras often included with the magazine.

Meanwhile, the team behind Stamp Collector and the allaboutstamps website have confirmed that they will once again be producing the PTS Directory, the comprehensive guide to the UK stamp trade featuring hundreds of trusted dealers. The PTS Directory 2019-2020 will be included with the April 2019 issue of Stamp Collector
