The United States Postal Service has revealed the second stamps in its Civil War series, which marks the 150th anniversary of the American Civil War. The two new stamps feature paintings of the Battle of New Orleans and the Battle of Antietam, both of which took place in 1862.
The New Orelans stamp features an 1862 Currier & Ives lithograph print of the battle, whilst the Battle of Antietam is shown on an 1887 painting by Thure de Thulstrup.
