Monaco commemorates the centenary of Prince Ranier lll with a new stamp

The stamp issue is part of the celebrations commemorating the centenary of the birth of Prince Ranier lll, who devoted 56 years to serving the Principality of Monaco.

The events commence with a big part of the Rock on 31 May, and will show the many aspects of a Prince whose achievements include the establishment of modern institutions, a diversified economy, an ambitious policy of development and extension of the territory, initiatives in cultural, scientific and environmental fields and increased Monegasque sovereignty.

This stamp is one of several that the Office des Timbres will issue between 31 May and January 2024.
