Show and tell
Why not dust off your stamp album and show it to a non-collector?
Whether it’s a relative, friend or work colleague, this is the day (or week) to showcase your collection!

Volunteer
Contact your local stamp club and ask what you can do to help? ‘There’s nothing like bringing someone to a meeting, making sure they feel at home and helping them learn something interesting,’ says Michael Goodman of the National Philatelic Society.

Social shares
Lookout for the stamp updates and fun stamp facts throughout the day on the Stamp & Coin Mart facebook page:

Donate to Kidstamps
Why not give some of your unwanted stamps and FDCs to a young collector?
Just send your donations to: Stamp Active Network, 3 Longfellow Road, Banbury, Oxfordshire OX16 9LB.

Plan a stamp trip
You don’t have to save your stamp celebrations for 4 May. Why not visit a local stamp fair during May and add to your collection? See the latest events on page 78.

Stick a stamp!
To coincide with the 2017 National Stamp Celebration Day, first day cover producer Buckingham Covers is launching ‘Stick a Stamp’ week (1 to 6 May). ‘We want everyone this week to start using stamps again!’ says Brian Austin.
