The New Zealand Post, working on behalf of the Pacific nation of Niue, have issued a set of stamps which feature perforations between Prince William and his wife-to-be Catherine Middleton. ...

The new stamps, in values of $2.40 and $3.40, are combined to create a large image of the royal couple pictured at their engagement photocall. But the perforations separating the two stamps are directly between the pair, allowing stamp users to 'tear them apart'.

A spokesperson for the New Zealand Post, which has already grabbed the headlines for issuing a Royal Wedding stamp set detailing the wrong date of birth for Prince William, said that the Niue design was intended to show perforations and that the design had met the approval of the Queen.
